Behind the Scenes

At Emma and Steve’s recent wedding I was joined by Ryan, who was assisting me. He grabbed a few behind the scenes pictures which I thought I’d share. The day usually starts with capturing details like the dress and flowers.
During the ceremony it’s important not to get too close to the action while still getting the shots!
It always feels great to be one of the first to congratulate the couple after capturing them coming down the aisle.
I wouldn’t describe myself as a ‘big personality’ when it comes to my photography. I prefer to quietly observe and capture the day but when you’re trying to organise 40 people on a staircase, making sure they don’t throw the confetti too soon, it’s important to speak up and have some fun with the guests.
